We took a few moments to write about each other.
Joseph Vincent Manna
From Karen Dalrymple — On July 4, 2016, I was swimming at a friend’s house and telling her about this guy I was going to meet for coffee the next day. From what little I saw, he seemed nice, interesting, and normal, which is an absolute treat when you’re dating on the internet. We met up for coffee and wound up talking for hours. I liked this dude! He sealed the deal when he asked for a second date at the end of the first. On our second date, he drove 45 minutes after work to take me to dinner. He liked me, too.
Our second date was the start of the happiest and most fulfilling years of my life. The first year of dating was a challenge. He lived 45 minutes away, so we talked on the phone a lot and saw each other on weekends. I knew Joe was exceptional and he was worth the effort. Over that first year and the next, I grew to know and love the man I will soon call my husband. Joe is a man of unquestionable character. He touches the lives of everyone he meets, and he will lend a hand to any who needs it. He is kind, passionate, hard-working, and sincere. He loves me with all my quirks, stands by me, encourages me, and supports me through everything. I’m so proud of him for everything he is, and it is my greatest honor to one day soon be Mrs. Karen Manna.
Karen Anne Dalrymple
From Joe Manna — From the moment we met at Lux Coffee, I knew something was special about Karen. She captivated me with her strong personality and advocacy for others. Even after a few cups of coffee, I was intrigued by Karen’s charm, insightful perspective, and her beautiful blue eyes.
Throughout the following two years, Karen has been incredibly supportive in my career as well as life’s unexpected moments. After being by her side while she earned her Bachelor’s degree from Grand Canyon University, I witnessed how well we complement each other’s strengths to achieve any goal we desire. She continues to inspire me to do my best every day and is always there to support and motivate me.
Even if she leaves half-filled coffee cups on the counter, I love her with all my heart, and I’m thrilled to spend the rest of my life with her!
